NSW: preparing students for real world experience

Joyanne is a postgraduate student from the Philippines studying a Master in Business Administration, specialising in Digital Management at the Kaplan Business School in Sydney.

About Joyanne

Joyanne was attracted to NSW for its strong support for students¡¯ academic excellence, health and safety, social well-being, along with its cultural diversity and vibrant recreational and cultural activities.

For Joyanne, volunteering at the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½y NSW International Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ent Welcome Desk has helped to round out her international education experience. She became more culturally oriented as she got the opportunity to work with students from different nationalities. Volunteer work helped her to develop soft skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership, as well as practical skills like time management and map reading.
